# Reset Password

> Free Hosting users can reset their server account password directly through the NexCloud Discord bot.

### Reset Your Password

* Join the official NexCloud Discord server.
* Open a channel where NexCloud bot commands are allowed.
* Send the following command:

```text theme={null}
nc!user password
```

* The NexCloud bot will process your request.
* Your new password will be sent to you **privately via Discord DM**.

### If You Don't Receive the DM

Make sure:

* Your Discord DMs are enabled.
* You are using the correct NexCloud Discord server.
* You entered the command correctly.
* The bot is able to send you direct messages.

If the bot cannot DM you, contact NexCloud Support.

> **Security:** Never share the password sent to you by the bot with anyone. NexCloud staff will never ask you to provide your password.
